Outdoor Rink Closed March 4, 2026
Please be advised that the Outdoor Rink is currently closed. With the warmer weather the ice surface has deteriorated and is in poor condition. Residents are asked to stay off the rink to help preserve the remaining ice and to prevent potential injuries. Our Public Works crew will reopen the rink if weather conditions improve and allow for safe use.
As we wrap up another wonderful year in Bonfield, the Township would like to share our holiday hours and extend our warmest wishes to everyone in the community.
Don’t forget to renew your pet’s tags. Registering your dog or cat helps ensure they can be quickly and safely returned to you if they ever get lost. A reminder that dog and cat tags are just $20 if purchased before March 1, 2026. After this date, the fee increases to $30. Applications and full details are available on our Animal Control page.
Winter weather can be unpredictable, and power outages or hazardous conditions can happen fast. Make sure you and your loved ones are ready by having a 72-hour emergency kit stocked with essentials.
Visit Emergency Management Ontario for additional resources and information on how to prepare for winter storms.
Please be advised that there are changes to the schedule for Council, Committee, and Board meetings for the month of December. We encourage all residents to review the updated schedule by visiting our Events Calendar. Thank you for your understanding as we accommodate the holiday season.
