    Township Office Closure Notice

    Please note that the Township of Bonfield Office will be closed on Wednesday, July 1st, 2026 in observance of Canada Day.

    While the office doors will be closed, the celebrations will be in full swing! We invite everyone to come out and enjoy the Canada Day festivities at Kaibuskong Park. From family-friendly activities and live entertainment to the Mayor’s BBQ, cake, and fireworks at dusk, it’s shaping up to be a great day of community celebration.

  • Road Closure

    NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE

    Please be advised that Trunk Road, past Yonge Street, will be closed during the week from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. beginning today

  • Trunk Road Construction
    Public Works will continue to remove the existing hardtop surface from Trunk Rd for the remainder of this week. Following the removal of the existing hardtop surface, ditching, sub grade work, berm removal & culvert replacements will follow.
  • Storm recovery funding announced
    Storm recovery funding announced for June 2025 damages.
    The Province of Ontario, through the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, announced today that the Township of Bonfield will receive $380,000 in support for the recovery work completed from the extreme rain and downburst last spring.
  • Church & Yonge St Intersection Closed

    Public Notice: Church Street and Yonge Intersection will be closed starting at 10 am this morning, Friday, May 29th, 2026.
