  • Public Notice - Culvert Replacements & Ditching Oct 20th - 24th

    The Public Works Department will be conducting culvert replacements and roadside ditching in multiple locations throughout the Township the week of October 20th - 24th Please read the full article for all the details. 

  • Public Notice - Washout on Von Doeler Rd.

    Public Notice - A section of Von Doeler Road has been washed out due to the high-water levels. Please take caution when travelling this roadway. Public Works has reached out to Fowlers to unblock the crossroad culvert on Highway 17 which this waterway drains into. 

  • Roadside Maintenance on Webbs and Rainville Roads

    Public Works crews will be brushing on Webbs Road. Following the completion of the brushing, crews will be removing the roadside berms & cleaning the ditches in preparation for maintenance gravel application on both Webbs Road & Rainville Road.

  • Seasonal Park Closure

    As the weather cools, we’d like to inform our community that, following Thanksgiving each year, our parks and trails will close for the winter season. We want to thank everyone in our amazing community for making the most of our parks this year. 

  • Thanksgiving Hours

    A friendly reminder that all municipal departments will be closed on Monday, October 13 for Thanksgiving. We wish everyone a safe and joyful holiday filled with time spent with friends and family. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! 

  • Public Notice: Downed Bell Line on Yonge Street

    UPDATE: There is currently a downed Bell line on Yonge Street. Bell has been notified and will respond to the situation. Our Public Works crew has marked the area with cones for safety. Please use caution if traveling in the area and choose an alternative route whenever possible. Thank you for your cooperation as crews work to resolve this issue.

  • The Terry Fox Run takes place Thursday September 25, 2025

    Public Works will be closing Yonge St. from Boisvert St. to Church St. on Thursday, September 25, 2025 for the École Lorrain Terry Fox Run. The road will be closed from 10:45 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. to make way for this wonderful event. Let’s come together for a great cause!

    The 6th Annual Bonfield Halloween Parade is creeping closer — Saturday, October 25 at 6:30 PM! Join us for a frightfully fun evening filled with creativity, costumes, and community spirit. ANYONE can enter! Families, community groups, and businesses are all welcome.   • Yard Clean Up Information

    Did You Know? Bonfield residents are entitled to two free dump loads/yard clean-ups per year at the Bonfield Landfill with their Landfill Pass. For full details on what is accepted and how the program works, please review the Yard Clean Up Guide or visit the Landfill Site page.
