NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSING

Residents and Landowners, take notice that the Township of Bonfield intends to pass a by-law under Section 27(1) and section 34(1) of the Municipal Act 2001, S.O. 2001 as amended for the closure of a portion of Eric Street in Subdivision Plan 36M716, as below.
The affect of this By-law is to close the section of road until such time as the roadway meets the subdivision agreement provisions and municipal road construction standards.
This Notice is distributed two weeks prior to the public meeting of October 13, 2026 where the bylaw will be considered. The Public may submit written comments and/or verbal comments at this meeting. Additional information is available in the clerk's office, below, during normal business hours.
The portion to be closed is:
The section of Eric Street within Plan 36M716 as hereinafter described
a.
10m south of the north boundary of lot 4 of Plan 36M716; and
b.
The southeast corner of Lot 9 of Plan 36M716 joining to the northeast corner of Lot 8 of Plan 36M716
