Update April 20, 2026

All roads open

Road Updates: April 16th, 3:30 pm

Southshore Road is now open.

Thanks to our PW Crew for the long days this week and for working to get the roads open as soon as possible. Thank you to our residents as well for your patience as we continue to work on the other roads still closed.

The Plan is to complete Line 3 tomorrow morning, by then the water may have receded and the blockage removed on Maple Road to have it repaired. Next week, the priority continues to be Gagnon Street and a culvert on Talon Cres.

Road updates April 15th:

Grand Desert at 91/113 is open.

Crews are working on driveway washouts where the water has receded. They will be working on the roads to get them open but there are still locations where the water hasn't receded. As other roads open we'll update this post.

Thanks for your patience. There are several areas where the roads have not been closed but need attention. There is a list. If you notice a concern, please call 705-776-2659 to report it

April 14, 2026 Update - More Road Closures:

LINE 3 is closed between Francoeur Road and the railway tracks.

SOUTHSHORE ROAD is closed between addresses 1975 and 1997

MAPLE ROAD is closed between addresses 380 and 396.

GRAND DESERT is closed between addresses 91 and 113.

There are numerous driveways washed out, and roadways may be deteriorated as the water continues to flow. Please drive with caution.

These urgent road repairs will be made as the water recedes. This will delay the planned culvert work on Talon Crescent and Gagnon Street. These projects remain a priority and will be completed as soon as possible.
