Happy Holidays to all! This time of year reminds us of the connections, traditions, and shared moments that make Bonfield so special. Thank you for being part of what makes our township such a vibrant and caring place. May your holidays be filled with peace, laughter, and the warmth of togetherness.

As we wrap up another wonderful year in Bonfield, the Township would like to share our holiday hours and extend our warmest wishes to everyone in the community. 

Just a reminder that your landfill pass automatically renews on January 1 each year. Updated bags will be issued as part of the renewal, so you’re all set for the year ahead!

Friendly reminder, you can now deposit all glass, plastic, paper products and cans into the same recycling bin at the landfill site. Visit our Landfill Site page for details on tipping fees, hours and acceptable materials.

Christmas trees bring so much joy and beauty into our homes, but it’s important to remember that they can also be a fire hazard if not cared for properly. Check out these Holiday Tree Safety Tips from the National Fire Protection Association.

Don’t forget to renew your pet’s tags. Registering your dog or cat helps ensure they can be quickly and safely returned to you if they ever get lost. A reminder that dog and cat tags are just $20 if purchased before March 1, 2026. After this date, the fee increases to $30. Applications and full details are available on our Animal Control page.
