Join the Bonfield Township Fire Department for a fun game of shinny on Saturday February 7, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at the Outdoor Rink! 

Did you know the Township of Bonfield is a member of the East Nipissing North Parry Sound Veterinary Services Committee.  Being part of this organization allows producers/farmers in in our Township to benefit from the Veterinary Assistance Program for large animals. If you are interested, the annual general meeting is fast approaching, reach out to Pauline Carmichael or Councillor Dan MacInnis for more information. 

The Township would like to reach out to the members of the community regarding the change room at the Outdoor Rink. Over this past weekend the walls were defaced by pucks, holes were put in the drywall & racist remarks were written on the walls. The Township does not condone this behaviour whatsoever & if it continues, we will be closing the change room area. Please don’t ruin the use of the Outdoor Rink for all other residents. Residents of Bonfield are invited to a meeting on Wednesday February 11, 2026 at 7:00 pm to shape community-led solutions for stray and feral cats in Bonfield. This session will explore legislative requirements, past Township efforts, and realistic approaches to managing stray and feral cats after the 72 hour hold.
