Kids Colouring Contest!

Grab your crayons, markers, and holiday cheer, and get colouring! Enter for your chance to win incredible prizes! From karaoke machines to pottery wheels, to outdoor sand tables, there are loads of fantastic prizes. All kids who attend will be entered in a draw for prizes!

Pick up a Kid's Colouring Sheet at the Township Office, Bonfield Library or download it from our website.
Prizes will be given to the top three picks in each age group. Age groups will be ages 2-4, 5-8, 9-12 and 13+
Vote for your favourites! Coloring contest entries will be uploaded to the Bonfield Township – Municipal Page on Facebook. The entries with the most votes will win!
Create your masterpiece at the event or in advance. Entries can be emailed to officeclerk@bonfieldtownship.com or dropped off at the Township Office, or Library.

Soup & Chili Cookoff

Soup & Chili Contest

Warm up your holiday spirit and your taste buds at our Soup and Chili Cookoff! This friendly competition is open to all who want to showcase their culinary talents.

To Enter: Fill in the Soup & Chili Cookoff registration form, return to the Township, or email to officeclerk@bonfieldtownship.com
Set Up: For complete anonymity, soups and chilis should be brought in by 12:30 pm.
Competition: Event takes place Saturday, November 29th, 2025 starting at 1:00 pm. Prize winners will be announced at 3:00 pm.

Contest Details:

Soup or chili must be served from a electric warmers or chafing dish that will keep it at a safe serving temperature of 140 °F(60 °C) or above.
Soup or chili must be prepared using fresh, safe, and properly stored ingredients. No expired or unsafe food products are allowed.
Contestants shall avoid cross-contamination during preparation.
Soup or chili must be transported in insulated containers (e.g., thermal carriers) to maintain appropriate temperatures.
Temperature checks will be performed by event staff before and during service.
Event staff will be serving the soup or chili for attendees.
No name, logo, or other identification is allowed.
A full list of ingredients must be submitted upon registration.
Allergens (e.g., nuts, dairy, gluten) must be clearly
identified. The only time your ingredients will be disclosed is if there is a specific allergy or dietary concern that requires our attention.
Soup or chili must be served on its own, with no accompaniments.
Participants are encouraged to bring 2 gallons or approximately 8 liters.
Please bring an extension cord to ensure you’re able to plug in your warmer.
Any soup or chili found not meeting safety or preparation guidelines will be disqualified.

Letters to Santa!

We’ll have a special Letters to Santa station where little ones can write and decorate their letters to Santa Claus.

Whether they are hoping for toys, treats, or something magical, every child will have a chance to create their letter to Santa.

Baked Goods Exchange

Bake: Bake up a couple dozen of your favorite Christmas treats.

Pack: Package them into portions of 1/2 dozen.

Swap: Trade your treats with others, taking home an equal amount in exchange for what you brought.

The Booked Goods Exchange will take place at 2:00 pm.

Fill-A-Cruiser

Let’s come together to make a difference. Join us for our Fill-a-Cruiser event, where we’ll be collecting non-perishable food items to support Bonfield Food Bank.
