Warm up your holiday spirit and your taste buds at our Soup and Chili Cookoff! This friendly competition is open to all who want to showcase their culinary talents.

Set Up: For complete anonymity, soups and chilis should be brought in by 12:30 pm.
Competition: Event takes place Saturday, November 29th, 2025 starting at 1:00 pm. Prize winners will be announced at 3:00 pm.
Contest Details:
- Soup or chili must be served from a electric warmers or chafing dish that will keep it at a safe serving temperature of 140 °F(60 °C) or above.
- Soup or chili must be prepared using fresh, safe, and properly stored ingredients. No expired or unsafe food products are allowed.
- Contestants shall avoid cross-contamination during preparation.
- Soup or chili must be transported in insulated containers (e.g., thermal carriers) to maintain appropriate temperatures.
Temperature checks will be performed by event staff before and during service.
- Event staff will be serving the soup or chili for attendees.
No name, logo, or other identification is allowed.
- A full list of ingredients must be submitted upon registration.
- Allergens (e.g., nuts, dairy, gluten) must be clearly
identified. The only time your ingredients will be disclosed is if there is a specific allergy or dietary concern that requires our attention.
- Soup or chili must be served on its own, with no accompaniments.
- Participants are encouraged to bring 2 gallons or approximately 8 liters.
- Please bring an extension cord to ensure you’re able to plug in your warmer.
- Any soup or chili found not meeting safety or preparation guidelines will be disqualified.
