Pay Your Tax Bill

Payment must be received by the Township’s office on or before the due date to avoid late fees. You can choose from several payment methods:

1. In Person at the Township Office

  • By cash or cheque (no extra fee)
  • By credit card – note a 1.5% surcharge is added to cover processing costs.
  • Using post-dated cheques – you can drop these off at the counter or in the secure drop box.

2. Pre-Authorized Payment Plan (PAPP)

The Township offers a program to automatically withdraw tax payments from your bank account:

  • You can pay monthly or on instalment due dates.
  • There’s no surcharge for this method.

To enroll in PAPP please complete the Pre-Authorized Payment Plan Application Form and return it to the Township Office.

3. Telephone Banking, E-Transfer, or Internet Banking

  • Use your 19-digit property roll number as your account number.
  • Note: It can take up to 3 business days for your payment to reach the Township, so submit early to ensure it’s on time.

4. Online via the Township Website

  • Pay online using a credit or debit card through PaySimply
  • A 2.5% surcharge applies to cover fees charged by the processing company.

5. Through Your Mortgage Company

  • If your mortgage holder pays your taxes for you, they must ensure payment is made on time.
  • Tax bills are sent to mortgage companies that request them, but you're still ultimately responsible.
