Trunk Road Construction
Public Works will continue to remove the existing hardtop surface from Trunk Rd for the remainder of this week. Following the removal of the existing hardtop surface, ditching, sub grade work, berm removal & culvert replacements will follow.
A permit has been obtained from OVR to work within 50 feet of OVR infrastructure, at the intersection of Trunk Rd & Railway St. The required surface removal & culvert replacements at this intersection will commence on June 22nd & 21st from 8am to 3pm. An updated detour route will be posted closer to the date of work (June 22nd/23rd).
In the event of rain, work will continue unless heavy downpour, and/or thunder and lightning occur.
The Township asks residents to please take caution while traveling this roadway as crews will be out working with heavy equipment & vehicles. The road surface will remain gravel until the pavement application is applied at the end of July/ start of August. Thank you for your patience during this much needed infrastructure update
