Public Notice - Road Work on Development and Pine Lake Roads

The Public Works crew is completing work on Development Rd and Pine Lake Rd today September 10, 2025 through the remainder of the week in preparation for upcoming tar and chip application.

On Development Road, ditching will continue today, with gravel application scheduled for Thursday, September 11, 2025. On Pine Lake Road, gravel work is being completed today.

The tar and chip application is scheduled to take place from Friday, September 12 through Monday, September 15, 2025, and will include Development Road from Rutherglen Line to Mt. Pleasant Road, as well as Pine Lake Road from Highway 17 to Shields Point Road.

Please exercise caution when traveling through these areas and follow all posted road signs and directions from staff to ensure the safety of both workers and drivers. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this work.
