Celebrate the Arts

The Recreation & Fitness Committee is thrilled to introduce Celebrate the Arts, a brand-new event celebrating Bonfield’s cultural diversity, heritage and historical significance. We are proud to acknowledge the support of the Ontario Arts Council and the Government of Ontario for making this event a reality. The event will begin Friday February 7th, 2025 at 7:00 pm with a 90 minute performance from Rendez-Vous, who will showcases traditional Métis fiddle tunes, Métis individual/group dances, as well as Métis, French and Irish lyrical songs. 

While the event celebrates our rich heritage, it also looks ahead to the future with innovative art installations planned for Spring 2025 in Kaibuskong Park. Stay tuned for more details!

The Township of Bonfield gratefully acknowledges the support of the Ontario Arts Council (OAC) for their generous grant. This funding has helped bring powerful, inspiring art experiences to our community—right here in Bonfield.

Thanks to the OAC, residents of all ages have had the opportunity to connect with professional artists, explore creative expression, and celebrate culture close to home.
