  • Remembrance Day Hours

    Please be advised that the Township of Bonfield office will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in observance of Remembrance Day. The 1st Regular Council Meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, to allow both Council and residents the opportunity to attend the Remembrance Day ceremonies.

    The Township of Bonfield invites residents and visitors to join us in honouring the brave men and women who have served, and continue to serve, our country. The Township of Bonfield's Remembrance Day Ceremony will be held Sunday, November 9, 2025. A reminder that the Township Office will be closed Tuesday, November 11, 2025 for Remembrance Day.

  • Public Notice: Crossroad Culvert Change at Lakeshore Rd and Development Rd, starting Wednesday, October 29.
    Public Notice: Public Works will be conducting a crossroad culvert change at the corner of Lakeshore Road and Development Road starting tomorrow, Wednesday, October 29 at 8:00 a.m. Traffic will be reduced to one lane, so please use caution and drive safely when travelling through the area.

  • Updated Timeline - Trunk Road closed from Trout Pond Rd to Fichault Rd starting October 22 to November 12, 2025

    Please note that Trunk Road will be closed from Trout Pond Road to Fichault Road starting October 22, 2025 to November 12, 2025 for the replacement of the Blueseal Creek Bridge. 

    The affected area is immediately adjacent to the bridge and all homes in the area will continue to have access to their driveways.  There is no through way. 

  • Public Notice - Culvert Replacements & Ditching Oct 20th - 24th

    The Public Works Department will be conducting culvert replacements and roadside ditching in multiple locations throughout the Township the week of October 20th - 24th Please read the full article for all the details. 

  • Public Notice - Washout on Von Doeler Rd.

    Public Notice - A section of Von Doeler Road has been washed out due to the high-water levels. Please take caution when travelling this roadway. Public Works has reached out to Fowlers to unblock the crossroad culvert on Highway 17 which this waterway drains into. 

  • Roadside Maintenance on Webbs and Rainville Roads

    Public Works crews will be brushing on Webbs Road. Following the completion of the brushing, crews will be removing the roadside berms & cleaning the ditches in preparation for maintenance gravel application on both Webbs Road & Rainville Road.
