Please be advised that the Township of Bonfield office will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in observance of Remembrance Day. The 1st Regular Council Meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, to allow both Council and residents the opportunity to attend the Remembrance Day ceremonies.

The Township of Bonfield is excited to announce the launch of our new Business Retention and Expansion (BR+E) Initiative, “Growing Bonfield Together: Community Business Survey 2025.” This important project aims to strengthen our local economy by connecting directly with businesses, identifying challenges, and uncovering new opportunities for growth and collaboration.

Please note that Trunk Road will be closed from Trout Pond Road to Fichault Road starting October 22, 2025 to November 12, 2025 for the replacement of the Blueseal Creek Bridge. 

The affected area is immediately adjacent to the bridge and all homes in the area will continue to have access to their driveways.  There is no through way. 

The Public Works Department will be conducting culvert replacements and roadside ditching in multiple locations throughout the Township the week of October 20th - 24th Please read the full article for all the details. 

Public Notice - A section of Von Doeler Road has been washed out due to the high-water levels. Please take caution when travelling this roadway. Public Works has reached out to Fowlers to unblock the crossroad culvert on Highway 17 which this waterway drains into. 

Public Works crews will be brushing on Webbs Road. Following the completion of the brushing, crews will be removing the roadside berms & cleaning the ditches in preparation for maintenance gravel application on both Webbs Road & Rainville Road.
