  • Be Prepared for Extreme Heat

    With the recent hot weather, it’s important to know how to protect yourself and your loved ones. Emergency Management Ontario has put together a helpful video full of tips and advice on staying safe during extreme heat.
  • Calcium Application Scheduled

    To help control the dust, roads will receive another round of calcium. Weather permitting, application is tentatively set for Wednesday July 23rd to Friday July 25th.

    Great news! The Township’s fire rating has been lowered to Moderate.
  • Reminder - Trailer Licence Applications

    If you currently have a trailer on a vacant waterfront property in the Township, don’t forget—you have until July 4, 2025 to submit a trailer licence application to be part of the six-year phase-out program for non-conforming trailers.

  • Bonfield Declares State of Emergency

    Residents be aware the weather event just experienced has washed out some roads. Crews are out assessing the damage. Pine Lake Road is washed out and McNutt Road as well. As we discover more we will update you here. Please call 705-776-2659 to report any concerns.
  • Public Notice - 2025 Budget
    Please note that Council will be considering the 2025 budget at the June 24, 2025 Council meeting. The proposed budget is a 3% tax levy.  The meeting will also have the Auditor attending to review the 2024 financial statements. Please review the attached documents and let us know if you have questions by Monday, June 23rd at noon.
